PositionFinance Manager
DescriptionKey Accountabilities:
1. Prepare and maintain records of billings, receipts, tax invoices, payments and other accounting records of the operation of the companies.
2. Maintain full-set of accounts of one of more companies in the group.
3. Responsible for recording and maintaining of sales and cost of sales as well as monitoring and management of account receivables.
4. Perform cash flow management and ensure smooth banking operations.
5. Ensure all invoices are accurately and timely booked into accounts management system with supporting documents.
6. Check that proper authorization has been obtained before processing payments to external suppliers and employees.
7. Ensure timely and accurate monthly and year-end closing and compliance with accounting policies and standard operating procedures.
8. Liaise with internal and external auditors.
9. Administrative duties in relation to finance issues or any other ad-hoc duties.
10. Able to work under tight deadlines.
11. Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities.
12. Compile key business metrics and report on them to management
13. Create additional analyses and reports as requested by management
14. Calculating tax liability, ensuring compliance is completed speedily and efficiently, and submitting tax returns and associated documents by the appropriate deadlines.
15. Streamlining and minimising tax liabilities
16. Update the company sales tax database as tax rates change
17. Knowledge about GST, excise duty and other related taxes.
18. Keep abreast of current developments in corporate taxes.

Desired Qualifications:
1. The finance manager candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting. degree. CWA/CS/CA is an added advantage.
2. 7-10 years of experience progressively responsible for a major company or division of a large corporation.
